Connecting culture, language and technology in classrooms

East Speaks West, West Speaks East,  the Klassik Stiftung Weimar and the Thüringian Ministry of Education Science and Culture work closely in establishing cooperation with Asian and German schools.

Exchanged programs have taken place with several Asian schools through these projects.  The Klassik Stiftung Weimar being one of the largest and most significant cultural institutions in Germany offers students to discover German cultural history through the introduction to Weimar Classicism.  Guided visits to the different  historical monuments and sites and several project workshops are part of this program. All these are offered for free by the Klassik Stiftung Weimar.  There were already six schools which participated in this project; St Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School (New Delhi), Delhi International Public School, Apeejay School Pitampura, Klosterschule Roßleben, Salzmannschule Schnepfenthal and Friedrich-Schiller-Gymnasium. Klosterschule Rossleben visited St Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School and Salzmannschule Schnepfenthal visited Delhi International Public School.  St Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School New Delhi is visiting  Christian-Ernst-Gymnasium in Erlangen, Germany.

We would welcome schools and educators who might be interested in joining us. Please write an Email or contact us.
